Jeddah is the second-largest city in Saudi Arabia after the capital city, Riyadh, and represents the economic and tourism capital of the country. It is located in the region of the coast of the Red Sea and is considered as the major urban city of western Saudi Arabia. Jeddah was named a Gamma world city by the Globalization and World Cities Study Group and Network (GaWC).
