Biography

Dr. Tawalbeh (IEEE SM): got his BSc in Electrical and Computer eng. form (JUST) in 2000, and his MSc and PhD degrees in computer engineering from Oregon State University (OSU) , USA in 2002 and 2004 respectively, under the supervision of prof. Dr. Cetin K. Koc , with GPA 4.0/4.0
Dr. Tawalbeh is a Tenure associate professor at the Computer Engineering Department at Jordan University of Science and Technology (JUST), Jordan. He is the founder and Director of the Cryptographic Hardware and Information Security (CHiS) lab at (JUST). Currently, Dr. Tawalbeh is a visiting professor at the Dept. of Comp. Eng. at Umm Al-Qura University, Makkah, KSA. From 2005 till 2012, he worked as a part-time professor to teach different information security courses in the Master programs at NewYork Institute of Technology (NYIT), DePaul’s University and princes Sumaya University for Technology (PSUT).
Dr. Tawalbeh won many research grants and awards. He has over 70 research publications in many refereed international Journals and conferences. His research interests include information security, cryptographic applications and computer forensics, Cloud security and Mobile cloud computing. Dr. Tawalbeh is chairing many international conferences and workshops in Mobile Cloud Security and Management. He is a reviewer and a member of the editorial boards of many international journals. Also, he is Senior IEEE member.
